Owners Joanne and Roland Carlson are Santa Clara homeowners and environmental enthusiasts who live within walking distance of The Green Pika. After having much difficulty trying to locate eco-friendly building supplies locally, they decided it was time to open a shop selling green and sustainable building supplies in the South Bay.
The Green Pika's primary goal is to provide products and information to enable the construction and finishing of buildings that maximize energy efficiency, conserve and protect natural resources, and provide healthy living and working environments.
